Trenton Terrell

National Vice-President of Parliamentary Law

Thomas Terrell, at the time a Texas State Officer, planted a small seed in Trenton Terrell when he became a freshman and first joined FCCLA. From this seed, a leader has grown. Trenton Terrell, National Vice-President of Parliamentary Law, is striving to motivate others to take part in the Ultimate Leadership Experience.

As a freshman, Trenton discovered his potential by competing in Career Investigation. After placing 1st at the Texas state meeting, he continued to the National Leadership Meeting in San Diego, California where he received a gold medal for his portfolio. Inspired by his success in STAR events, he sought to become more. Trenton found this opportunity when he ran for state office in 2005. He was elected to serve as the Texas State Corresponding Secretary for 2005-2006. After his term in office, a fire was ignited within. Trenton began studying diligently to achieve his ultimate goal, to become a national officer.

Trenton is a senior at Winnsboro High School in Winnsboro, Texas. He is very involved with various organizations at his school, as well as plays tennis and golf. Also, Trenton has worked at the local Brookshire’s grocery store for two years. He is a member of Who’s Who Among American High School Students, National Honor Roll, and Phi Theta Kappa, which is an honors fraternity for students at two-year universities or junior colleges. When Trenton is not focused on his studies or busy with FCCLA, he likes to play his bass guitar, spend time with family and friends, and do just about anything a regular teenager would do.

Trenton looks forward to an amazing year with all of the members that are taking part in making Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America the best student led organization in the country. Trenton has seen what doors and avenues FCCLA has opened for his future and hopes that others will not miss out on this opportunity to become everything they were meant to be.
