State Farm® and Major League Baseball® in the 2010 Go To Bat™ Program

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America has been selected as one of 48 charities to participate by State Farm® and Major League Baseball® in the 2010 Go To Bat™ Program.  You can help FCCLA by visiting www.statefarm.com/gotobat and choosing Family, Career and Community Leaders of America from the drop down menu in the education section.  That counts as one entry for FCCLA.  To gain additional entries you have the chance to play an online State Farm Home Run Derby game.  Each virtual home run counts as another entry for FCCLA.

State Farm will randomly select one winner each week and that person will receive a trip for two to the 2010 MLB World Series.  State Farm will also donate $100 for each home run hit in the League during that week to FCCLA.  Based on home run averages from previous years, this could amount to approximately $20,000 per week.  The charity with the greatest number of entries at the conclusion of the program will directly receive a grand prize of $25,000 at season’s end.

Help us pass the word virally to all your friends and family members who are 18 years of age and older.  Ask them to visit State Farm’s destination on MLB.com or Facebook.com, select FCCLA, and Go To Bat.  The more people who go to bat for FCCLA, the more chances FCCLA has to win a weekly donation or the end of program donation for the charity with the most entries.  You can return every day and play State Farm’s online Home Run Derby game.  Each home run hit equals another entry for FCCLA.  State Farm also gives participants a chance to share their participation on Facebook to challenge others to Go To Bat for FCCLA.
